ORACLE Lighting Expands LED Solutions Portfolio with Acquisition of Trigger Control Systems

This strategic acquisition will accelerate industry growth for ORACLE Lighting and further diversify its comprehensive product offerings.

New Orleans, LA – ORACLE Lighting, a leader in the automotive lighting industry, is excited to announce the acquisition of Trigger Control Systems. Based near New Orleans, ORACLE Lighting has spent the past 25 years at the forefront of design and technology, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation. Trigger, known for its cutting-edge wireless control systems for vehicle lighting and accessories, offers 12-volt power distribution systems that seamlessly integrate with and enhance ORACLE’s existing LED products. This acquisition marks a strategic step forward in expanding ORACLE Lighting’s product portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation.

Trigger Control Systems specializes in the engineering and manufacturing of auxiliary controllers, along with vehicle-specific mounting brackets and adapters, allowing drivers to easily manage various vehicle systems, such as auxiliary lighting, via the Trigger mobile app, wired switches, or wireless RF switches. Known for its reliability and user-friendly functionality, Trigger’s product range is compatible with a variety of popular vehicles, from Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs to marine and RV applications. Flagship products like the Trigger 6 Shooter, Trigger 4 Plus, and Trigger ONE Bluetooth Relay have gained widespread acclaim for their versatility and performance. The Trigger 6 Shooter and 4 Plus feature the industry's first all-wireless switch panel, enabling users to effortlessly control accessories both inside and outside the vehicle.

“Trigger has always been a key innovator in the accessory market, offering intuitive control systems that simplify vehicle modifications and empower users,” said Jeff Beckman, President of Trigger. “With its strong market position and proven track record, I’m confident the brand has tremendous potential for continued growth under its new ownership. ORACLE shares our vision for Trigger’s future and has the resources and expertise to elevate the brand. Their commitment to innovation and expansion makes this partnership a natural fit, and I’m excited to see Trigger thrive as part of their portfolio.”

The Trigger System cuts installation time by removing the need to run wires through the vehicle’s firewall. It also provides wireless control for accessories, dimming, and flashing functions via the free app. The control box also features fused circuits with LED indicators for quick identification of blown fuses.

“What stood out to me the most about the Trigger product is the robust engineering that’s evident from the moment you see and feel it,” said Justin Hartenstein, co-Founder and Director of Product Development for

ORACLE Lighting. “When you place a Trigger Controller next to a competitor product, the difference is immediately clear. The heavy-duty metal construction, compared to the competition’s plastic housings, the heavy-gauge power cables that are twice the size of others on the market, and the waterproof output cables truly set it apart."

“Everything is over-engineered for the most extreme environments,” Hartenstein continued. “Combine that with the innovative wireless magnetic keypad and an easy-to-use app, and it’s by far the best power distribution system we’ve used. We are proud to offer the Trigger product under the ORACLE brand.”

This acquisition empowers ORACLE Lighting to explore innovative product combinations and groundbreaking enhancements by integrating Trigger Controllers' cutting-edge technology and expertise. Leveraging the strengths of both brands, ORACLE Lighting is poised to expand its market presence, push the boundaries of lighting and control systems, and deliver even more advanced solutions to its customers. This partnership underscores ORACLE Lighting's ongoing commitment to setting new industry standards for quality, performance, and innovation, ensuring that both brands remain at the forefront of the automotive lighting and accessory space.

“We were immediately drawn to Trigger when we began researching the development of our own switch control system,” said Tiffanie Hartenstein, co-Founder and CEO of ORACLE Lighting. “We quickly recognized that Trigger’s products offered exceptional features and quality that set them apart from the competition. Their controllers are the perfect complement to our ORACLE Lighting LED accessories, allowing customers to maximize their functionality. We’re excited to offer our customers this unmatched level of control and convenience.”
